This popular summer program kicks off July 11 at 6 pm in The Chapel at TVC Main and continues the following two Tuesday nights. Burgers and dogs are provided by TVC, then we’ll complete a three-week study and discussion focused on the three components of our TVC Missions emphasis: justice, mercy and evangelism. Kids eat with their parents before heading down to our childcare rooms.
Tickets for TVC’s annual Night at the Sounds game go on sale today, so make plans to join us Sunday, July 30 at 6:35 pm at First Tennessee Park. Tickets are $10 and include a new TVC T-shirt. Click the button below to purchase tickets, and don’t forget to use the promo code “TVC.”
Middle school and high school students are invited to join us July 21-23 for a weekend Youth Missions Retreat. They’ll spend the weekend learning about missions through two local ministries along with looking at missions around the world and learning to form relationships and live missionally in our own city. Girls and guys will be hosted separately and all food is provided. There is no cost for this retreat, but students need to register.
Calling all potential Home Group leaders! If you're interested in finding out more about what’s involved in leading a Home Group for TVC, come to an informational meeting on Sunday, July 23 at 10 am in the Green Room at TVC East. Attending does not commit you, but be prepared for a really convincing sales pitch.
As we continue our relationship with Inglewood Elementary, loving our neighbors as Jesus directed us to, we are looking for more volunteers. Join us at this East Nashville school on Wednesday, July 19 at 6:30 pm. You’ll have an opportunity to take a look around the campus and hear more about how you can help this coming school year as a lunch buddy, classroom helper, adult mentor, reading partner, party/celebration volunteer or home group grade sponsor. Sign up HERE.
TVC’s own Bill and Mary Jean Murphy facilitate this family member and caregiver support group in association with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The faith-based group meets the fourth Sunday of each month, so join us for our next meeting on July 23 at 3 pm in the Green Room at TVC East.
