Where is The Living Room? The Family Room? The Den? What about TVC Kids at Main or the Nursery at TVC East? CLICK HERE for a map of TVC Main, or CLICK HERE for a map of TVC EAST.
  • How do I sign up for email lists? +

The Village Chapel has set up a central community hub for the church called myTVC. We have many different ways for you to connect with other members of the church, regardless of your age, current phase of life or even the area of town where you live. There are Home Groups that allow you to meet and join in a study with others near where you live as well as several men’s and women’s groups that meet weekly. We also have a growing list of other groups, many of which are geared towards those with similar interests or abilities (such as our Creative Arts Group or the TVC Choir).Click HERE to join myTVC and become involved with one of our many study and community groups. For more information on setting up your personal preferences within myTVC, see our myTVC resource page.
  • How do you collect tithes and offerings? +

There are several offering boxes throughout the building. You’ll find one on a table to your left as soon as you enter The Chapel and one mounted to the wall near the rear entrance as well. There are also offering boxes in The Family Room and The Living Room. We have chosen not to circulate offering baskets/buckets/plates, but we definitely encourage cheerful, generous and purposeful giving.
  • Is there a way to give my tithes/offerings online? +

Yes, we offer a number of secure online giving options by credit card or automatic bank draft. To learn more about these options visit our GIVE page.
  • I’d like to get more connected at TVC. What is available? +

The short answer is to sign up for myTVC and find small groups or studies that interest you.

For some more specifics options, we suggest: Home Groups are a great way to connect with others in a smaller setting. They are the place that community is most often birthed, and congregational care takes place. We do not have a formal “assigning” of Home Groups. Review the available groups and find one that is the best fit for you. You might even try several before settling on the one you are most comfortable with. Home groups meet every other week seasonally.

We also offer a Women’s Study and a New Moms' Study each Wednesday morning during the school year. Free childcare is available for each of these studies. We just ask that you make an online reservation at childcare.thevillagechapel.com, so we can make sure we have enough workers on hand to care for your little ones.

Special Events include potluck dinners or coffee-and-dessert discussions designed to gather the whole church or people of similar ages and stages. These are usually held on Friday nights in The Living Room, but check the Calendar for upcoming events that interest you, then sign up at events.thevillagechapel.com. Childcare is available for certain dinners. You will be prompted to make a reservation for your child(ren) after filling out the online sign-up form for an event.

Men’s Groups meet at various locations around the city throughout the week. Go to our Men’s Ministry page for a current list of groups.

Missions events with local and international ministries are a great way to serve and meet other people. Opportunities are posted on our Missions page, in the bulletin and announced during our Sunday worship services.

Church-wide Events are held throughout the year and are family friendly, including the whole church. We have a summer picnic, potlucks, game nights, an annual all-church baseball night at a Sounds game, Christmas programs and more. Keep an eye on the Calendar for details on upcoming events.

  • Do you offer Sunday School? +

  • Where should we park? +

After work hours (Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm) any of the parking spaces around the building and in the lower parking lot at the front of the building are available for our use. We ask that if you park on the surrounding streets, you respect personal driveways and any parking regulations that are posted. During normal work hours, please respect the numbers on the parking places around the building. They are allotted to businesses with corresponding room numbers. The lower parking lot out front is always clear for us to park in, any time, any day.
  • Where can I find out more about what you believe? +

We love that you want to know more. We offer quarterly meetings we call Intro to TVC, during which we give info on the history of the church, Pastor Jim’s background, our mission, goals and vision. This is a great place to start, to ask questions or to learn from the questions others ask. You can also find quite a bit of information about what we believe on our About page, which deals with the essentials of what we believe. We hope you’ll take the time to read the information provided there.
  • Can I use a room at TVC for a meeting or event? +

It is our general policy that all TVC spaces be used for TVC programming and events only.
  • I’ve lost a personal item. Do you have a lost and found? +

Our “lost & found” area is located at the back of the chapel. When we find something you’ve left behind, we place it there, so be sure to check for it the following Sunday. This is also where dishes and serving pieces wind up that are left behind at potlucks and other events. Items not claimed will be donated to Goodwill after a reasonable period of time.
  • I’d like to join the TVC Choir. What do I do? +

If you are interested in singing with the TVC choir, please join the choir group within myTVC. No experience is necessary. Check the Calendar for rehearsal times.
