Join us this season as we continue our Dinner gatherings.  This is an opportunity for you to get together with other TVCers in the same age group for a potluck meal. See below or on the church calendar for the date for you decade’s dinner.  If you’d like to attend, click on the appropriate link below to sign up.  You’ll be contacted by the dinner coordinator with more information as your date draws near.  Hope you won’t miss this opportunity to get to know others in a casual setting.

If childcare is provided for your evening, you will be redirected to the childcare reservation page after signing up for the dinner event.  Please help us make sure we have enough childcare workers for your event by giving us your child(ren)'s name(s)!

Home Groups

At The Village Chapel we believe in developing a climate of community that doesn't feel "forced".  Instead of having permanent, assigned small groups based on your zip code or the first letter of your last name, we have chosen to offer what we simply refer to as TVC Home Groups.  You choose the group you want to visit and when you find one that seems like a good fit, go ahead and plug-in.  Each group involves a time of fellowship, discussion and prayer.  You can find brief descriptions of each of the home groups along with a way for you to get in touch with them for more information on our Home Groups page.

Rebuilding After the Flood

Did you know that TVC is hard at work rebuilding three condos for single women whose homes were devastated by the May floods? The project is taking place in the River Plantation development and progress is being made daily by a team of TVC-based contractors and workers (see photo at right). The plan is to have the houses habitable again by early September. Before that can happen, though, we'll need your help with cleaning, painting and finish work.

There are several ways you can make sure you don't miss out on these rewarding volunteer opportunities:

- Join a Home Group! We'll be restarting our TVC Home Groups in mid-August and they are the most direct route to our volunteer efforts.

- Check back here regularly for progress updates as well as how you can get involved. There will be regular calls for volunteers and you'll find updates on the homepage or missions page.
